Patricia Herrera has been a real estate advisor with Riviera Maya Sotheby’s International Realty since 2008. Licensed in the state of Quintana Roo, she specializes in luxury and lifestyle real estate throughout the Mexican Caribbean, representing buyers, sellers, and investors with deep market knowledge and highly personalized service.

A resident of Playa del Carmen since 1996, she has witnessed firsthand the extraordinary transformation of the city and the Riviera Maya. Her enduring connection to the region has given her an in-depth understanding of its diverse destinations, residential communities, and evolving real estate market, as well as the lifestyle each area offers. Her expertise extends across the Riviera Maya, Cancún, the islands of the Mexican Caribbean, and select areas of Yucatán.

Before transitioning into real estate, she began her professional journey at a young age in the world of high-end hospitality, working at some of Mexico’s most emblematic ultra-luxury hotels during the golden age of luxury tourism. Far more than celebrated destinations, these exceptional properties were worlds unto themselves, defined by the highest levels of exclusivity, absolute privacy, and uncompromising discretion. Her work in sales, personalized hospitality, and the coordination of major groups and events immersed her in a professional culture centered on anticipating individual needs and delivering seamless, world-class service—foundational principles that continue to shape her approach to real estate today.
